К сожалению, РИКЗ ещё не опубликовал списки тематической лексики, хотя и уже упоминал о них в спецификациях ЦТ и ЦЭ. Предлагаемый в этой публикации материал основан на анализе старых аналитических сборников РИКЗ выпускавшихся по результатам ЦТ по 2011 год.

N.B. Хотя исключений много, базовая логика глаголов-ловушек такова:
~ — процесс, рутина, выполнение обязанности или чего-то негативного (~ homework, ~ business, ~ damage, ~ badly);
~ — создание чего-то нового, результата, который можно потрогать или зафиксировать (~ a profit, ~ a statement, ~ a discovery, ~ a mess);
~ — захват, получение, участие (~ advantage, ~ a chance, ~ place, ~ notice);
~ — сохранение состояния в течение времени (~ a secret, ~ in touch, ~ a promise).
