N.B. В задании ЦТ просят ближайший по смыслу вариант, но в реальной речи контекст решает всё:
catch = condition — здесь catch употребляется в значении «подвох, скрытое условие» (как в What’s the catch?). Это не синоним в общем смысле, а ситуативный;
hardly = almost never — hardly означает «едва, почти не», а не «редко» (почти никогда). В некоторых контекстах они близки, но не всегда;
aware of = familiar with — aware — знать о факте, familiar — быть знакомым с деталями.
